Our Large Waves #2 pattern features 14 waves, approximately 19mm apart.  Create an armful of delightfully shaped bangles and more—it's fast, fun, and easy! Made of quality steel, this economical tool will pay for itself many times over.

There's no need for an expensive hydraulic press to use this tool—simply use a weighted rawhide mallet or a large rubber mallet to hammer the top of the press, creating the pressure needed to form the wire that has been placed inside.

This tool will allow you to create numerous different looks with just one Wubbers Bangle Press!

• Getting Started Making Bangles 
  While I use wire that is 12-, 14-, and 16- gauge to make bangles with the Wubbers Bangle Press, my all-time favorite is 14-gauge. I recommend that you start with 14-gauge copper wire to make your first bangles. Copper wire is the easiest to work with and form and an excellent choice for your first few bangles.
• Textured Wire 
  If you hammer and texture the wire before making your bangle, the most predictable results can be produced with wire that is flattened slightly and not over-worked to the point that it is very thin and wide.
• Heavier Wire 
  Once you gain a little experience with the Wubbers Bangle Press, it is fun to use a heavier wire such as 12-gauge wire that has been hammered and textured so that it is a little wider. It will often tend to "lay over" inside the press, creating a very different effect.
• Earrings, Too! 
  Create a pair of fancy hoop earrings by forming 20-gauge wire into a circle shape (no soldering required), then forming it in the press.
• What About Metal Sheet?
  Experiment freely with your Wubbers Bangle Press! Use it to shape the edge of a piece of soft metal (24-gauge or lighter). There’s no telling what you can make!
• Mix Your Metals
  When making an armful of bangles, it's fun to mix the metals and finishes as well as the gauges of wire to make your bangles. A 16-gauge bangle is fairly lightweight, and may tend to lose its round shape as it is worn. However, when stacked and worn with 12- and 14-gauge bangles, they tend to hold their shape much better.
