The Wubbers ProLine Series, formerly known as the Apprentice Line, is engineered to provide superb mastery and control of wire and metal. They are made from high quality steel and are finished beautifully. The ProLine Pliers have ergonomic grips with a non-slip suede-like coating. Each plier is hand-finished to help prevent marring, and is rated to work with wire that is 16-gauge or smaller.

Sturdy and well made

My first set of pliers were causing me untold frustration so I decided it was time to get myself a professional set of tools. These pliers handle more comfortably during long hours and have minimised scratches on my wire work. I bought these as a birthday present to myself. I've been making jewelry for about five years now, and I had heard of Wubbers but wasn't ready to put out the money to buy a set. After doing more and more work with my tools, and feeling the pain in my hands, I decided I needed to give these a try. I'm so glad I did. The grips are SO comfortable. I have great control with these tools. I love the handy tool holder as well.

When I first started researching the wubbers
pliers I was torn between the baby and classic
sets for size. I was delighted to find that the
proline set offered some of the finer tips like
the baby wubbers and a handle size that's
between the classics and baby set. The perfect
compromise, its like having the best of both the
classic and baby wubbers in one set.

Not only do these tools fit and feel so great in your hand, but they work beautifully and the stand makes for easy access and less bench clutter.

These were a little smaller than the classic set, which was disappointing; however, they are awesome tools. My fingers don't fit the grip intentions perfectly, but they don't slip. They are strong, and they work well with all the wire gauges from 14 to 30. I do chainmaille 8 hours a day. With these my hands don't get tired as often.

I have been using these pliers for my wire working needs for about a week now and they are wonderful! I have fairly large hands and these tool are the perfect size. The points on the needle nose pliers, both the bent and straight nose, are nicely crafted and have a good point. The jaws on the pliers are smooth and wont mar wires as easy as the cheap ones would. Only small downfall is that there is not a cutter with the set but there as so many kinds that work for anything I think they opted to not focus on something that didn't need improving. That being said, if you need a good set and want a premium product, get these (or any other wubber's pliers set for that matter)!
