There’s no need for an expensive hydraulic press to use this tool—simply use a weighted rawhide mallet or a large rubber mallet to hammer the top of the press, creating the pressure needed to form the wire that has been placed inside.

Quickly and easily add interest to your wire designs!

Ring and Hoop presses only recently hit my radar. Once I tried them I was hooked! I've used them to create an interesting design on the spinner portions of my spinner rings. They're a really affordable way to texture wire as compared to buying patterned wire. The design of these presses really makes them foolproof as long as you remember to compress (with a weighted mallet ALL the way around the ring/hoop. I have successfully repositioned and re-hammered so not to worry. My only concern is whether I can resist any new designs that come out! :-)
